Office Inequities and Possible resolution

I will start this write-up by rehearsing a line by Mirza Ghalib:

I have worked with numerous organizations like Takaful, Insurance, Insurance Broking, Stock Exchange and not-for-profit sectors but observed people (employees) suffering from more or less similar chronic satanic diseases, which are hatred, lust, greed, lower graded professional jealously, enviousness, selfishness, bribery, evil minded games, a deceptive devoted colleagues, artificial professionalism, idea's (someone intellectual property) thieves, dirty politics, saying Salams (Greetings) and shaking hands with envious hearts, mischievous artifacts, emotional blackmailers, firing behind someone's back, liars, offering prayers to please bosses, voice suppressors, gossips, setups or traps makers, bug passers, cruel/crimnal intentions, responsibility aversive aims, harassments of different types, sacral abuse, language/ethnic/religious abuse, pride and prejudice. But I treated these people as my research customers and thereby found various insights.

Let us have a look at this clip showing how grapevine travels in 'bottom-up organizational structure', which could brought worst outcomes within the organization like agony:

Let us be honest with ourselves on a point that every organization usually sings "creedal a Leadership, Transparency, Trust, Prospective careers, Family (Sense of togetherness), Change,..." but with these amputated souls (employees) Good Managers can't be created and creating Leaders is a wean desire. Everybody in any office environment is insecure (whether it is top-down or bottom-up organizational structure) on different levels because of that they are spreading this AIDS-FOP (acquired immune deficiency syndrome for official purpose) . Sometimes a Good Moral Manager can't do anything because of his/her Lacking Courage and sometimes a Manager blindly trust his/her subordinates (so to say innocent colleagues) which brings gift of destruction to him/herself. There is no system of 'just' due to which frustrations, anxieties, depressions, fears or phobias occurs. Sometimes its very hard to resolve conflicts and grapevines. I think Human Resource Department is an overhead to organization either because Human Resource personnel are suffering from this contagious disease or because it is acting as a poppet show.

Humankind is not safe from these dark and evil sprits but the worlds beyond our imaginations are safe, as described in Holy Quran 15: 16-18 Allah says:

"It is We Who have set out The Zodiacal Signs in the heavens, And made them fair-seeming To (all) beholders; And (moreover) We have guarded them From every evil spirit accursed: But any that gains a hearing By stealth, is pursued By flaming fire, bright (to see)".

Remember! Evil (Men or Women) always repel the truth, our Holy Quran testifies in 23: 70-71:

"Or do they say, "He is Possessed"? Nay, he has Brought them the truth, But most of them Hate the Truth. If the Truth had been in accord with their desires, Truly the heavens and the earth, And all beings therein Would have been in confusion And corruption! Nay, We Have sent them their admonition, But they turn away From their admonition".

Some suggestions and prayers from house of Islam, which guides 'truth loving innocent people' who are worried due to office politics:

1- Protection against jealous inflictions:

With the name of Allah SWT I blow upon you that Allah SWT may cure you and Protect you from envious' wickedness, ill-sight and from everything which causes agony. "Tirmizi and Ibne Maja"

2- Removal of Hardships:

With the name of Allah SWT I ask Thee(Allah) for safety of my family as well as my wealth. "Ibne Mughni p50"

3- For the betterment in employment: Du'a (Prayer)

" I turn to Allah and rely upon Him throughly and put my confidence in Him"

4- For fear of God: Du'a (Prayer)

" O Allah SWT Guide me and enrich me with piety and forgive me in this world and in hereafter"

5- To Remove Grievances

"O'Allah! Put affection in our hearts; make a bridge of settlement between us; chalk out the straight way for us; drag us from the darkness; set us on the illuminated Path and protect us from illegal sexual actions"

There is an eye opener Ayyahs (verses) in Holy Quran 17: 17-18 about 'Human Impatience'. Allah says:

"How many generations Have We destroyed after Noah? And enough is thy Lord To note and see The sins of His servants. If any do wish For the transitory things (Of this life), We readily Grant them - such things As We will, to such persons As We will: in the end Have We provide Hell for them: they will burn Therein, disgraced and rejected".

How can I forget my non muslim friends? Especially the people of Book "Holy Bible". If you feel, you as an employee are suffering from above stated diseases then Open Ezekiel 18:20-21 and redress your deeds:

"The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son (the progeny of Adam) shall not bear the iniquity of the father (Adam), neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him. But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die".

One of our Great Leader, specially from the corporate world, Mr. Moin M Fudda said beautifully about How to achieve success in any walk of life?

"Our attitude towards the future influences our mind-set for the rest of our lives. Being grateful for what we 'do not' have today and yet being positive about life ahead is among life's greatest motivators".

I will conclude this write up by saying this "If you wish to clean your soul from above inequities then you have to earn three nouns in life Integrity, Knowledge and Thankfulness". I hope and pray may this write-up brings about changes in your life and influences through your acts the minds of people associated with you. I know this is a slow process and it is totally dependent on an individual, But I am hopeful, our great poet Ahmed Faraz rightly said:

Suna hai un k aansoun se bujhti hai sehra ki piyas

Jo kehtay thay k hum pathar hain hamein rona nahi aata

Remember "A Right Man in a Wrong Place can Make all the Difference in the World".
